Kerry FC have signed Liechtenstein international midfielder Simon Lüchinger on loan until the end of the season.
The 23 year-old joins from Austrian second division side Schwarz-Weiß Bregenz.
Lüchinger, who has 36 senior caps, featured in all 8 2026 World Cup qualifying group games for his country.
He was named captain of his country at under-21 level at just 17 years of age.

Liechtenstein international midfielder Simon Lüchinger has signed for Kerry FC on loan from Austrian 2. Liga side Schwarz-Weiß Bregenz until the end of the 2026 campaign, becoming Colin Healy’s first signing of the summer window.
Lüchinger, who is 23, brings an impressive CV to Mounthawk Park, having featured for Liechtenstein at senior level on some 36 occasions, in FIFA World Cup & UEFA European Championship Qualifiers, as well as in the UEFA Nations League. Simon featured in all 8 qualifying group games for this year’s World Cup. He also featured in all but one of the European Championship qualifiers in 2023, featuring against sides like Portugal and Belgium.
Born in Vaduz, the midfielder was named captain of his country at under-21 level at just 17 years of age, becoming the youngest-ever captain of the country’s underage side.
Simon signed his first professional contract at his hometown club, Vaduz, in 2021, where he remained for 4 years until 2025, winning the Liechtenstein Cup on 4 occasions back-to-back. He signed for Schwarz-Weiß Bregenz at the start of last season and now teams up with Colin Healy’s side for the remainder of the 2026 season.
