Pogacar makes history at Tour de France

Slovenia’s Tadej Pogacar has made cycling history at the Tour de France.

The defending champion claimed a record equalling fifth title.

He started the final stage into Paris, which was won by Mathieu van der Poel, with a lead of six minutes and 26 seconds.

Ireland’s Ben Healy had to settle for a 59th place finish, helped by placing 37th in yesterday’s final stage.
