Golden State Warriors fans have expressed disappointment with the front office after failing to acquire LeBron James.

Speaking to Stephen Curry’s situation, this might affect his relationship with management, with Marcus Thompson II via The Athletic saying he might be tired of star chasing.

In addition, Curry is reportedly leveraging his contract negotiations to force the Warriors to build a true contender roster for a championship run.

“He wants to win. He wants the best team the Warriors can assemble around him. He wants a chance, a real chance, for a deep playoff run. The longer it takes for him to sign a contract extension, the more you can bet Curry’s using potential free agency as a tool to keep the Warriors pushing toward that end,” Thompson said.

The 38-year-old guard could send pressure to the front office, using the possibility of entering free agency next offseason.

Meanwhile, the four-time champion reacted to James’ last decision on choosing the Philadelphia 76ers over Golden State.

With the given circumstances around the franchise, analysts have come up with rumors of Curry on a different jersey.
