Linda Noskova is the new Wimbledon women’s champion after winning and epic final against fellow Czech Karolina Muchova.

Noskova dominated the first set before Muchova saved five match points – and surged back from 5-2 down in the second – to force a decider, which Noskova came through 6-3 to win her first major title.

It’s been a good day for British players – with Henry Patten winning the men’s doubles final alongside Finland’s Harri Heliovaara.

British duo Alfie Hewett and Gordon Reid are also champions at the All England Club – as they won their seventh men’s wheelchair doubles title.

The top two seeds face off in the Wimbledon men’s final at 4 today as Jannik Sinner defends his title against French Open winner Alexander Zverev.

The pair have met on every surface – except grass – with Sinner 10-4 up in their head-to-head battle.
