Will Clyburn has left Barcelona after the club activated the contract’s exit clause, ending his stint following a single season in which he remained one of the team’s most efficient scoring wings in EuroLeague competition.

Barcelona confirmed the departure on Saturday, noting that Clyburn’s deal was terminated despite being valid through 2027. The forward arrived in the summer of 2025 from Virtus Bologna and played 68 total games across all competitions, including 33 in EuroLeague play.

In the 2025-26 EuroLeague season, Clyburn averaged 13.8 points, 4.2 rebounds and 1.6 assists in 25.5 minutes per game across 33 appearances. He shot 46.3% from the field and 38.7% from three-point range while posting a 13.8 player efficiency rating profile anchored by high-volume wing scoring.

Barcelona finished the EuroLeague regular season 21–17, ranking ninth overall and narrowly securing a postseason berth in a tightly clustered middle tier.

Clyburn was one of three Barcelona players averaging double-digit scoring in EuroLeague play alongside Kevin Punter (14.8 points per game) and Tornike Shengelia (12.4). His 5.1 three-point attempts per game ranked among the team’s highest wing usage rates, complementing Barcelona’s perimeter-heavy offensive structure.

His departure comes during an aggressive offseason reset in Barcelona. The club has already parted ways with head coach Xavi Pascual, as well as Jan Vesely, Miles Norris, Myles Cale, Juani Marcos, Willy Hernangomez, Tomas Satoransky, Youssoupha Fall and Nicolas Laprovittola.
