The Golden State Warriors have secured a record-breaking jersey sponsorship agreement with Australian AI cloud company Iren, signing a multiyear partnership reportedly worth more than $50 million annually.
The deal replaces Rakuten as Golden State’s jersey sponsor beginning next season and is believed to be the most valuable sponsorship agreement ever reached by a North American professional sports team.
The partnership extends beyond the NBA franchise, covering the WNBA’s Golden State Valkyries and the G League’s Santa Cruz Warriors.
Iren’s branding will also be featured throughout Chase Center as part of the expanded collaboration.
Founded in 2018, Iren has transitioned from cryptocurrency mining into AI infrastructure and cloud services, securing major partnerships with companies including Microsoft and Nvidia as it expands its presence in the artificial intelligence sector.
In addition to the commercial agreement, the Warriors and Iren plan to invest in community initiatives focused on AI and STEAM education, renovate local basketball courts, and donate 10,000 Warriors jerseys each year to underserved youth throughout the Bay Area.
