The Memphis Grizzlies are adding another undrafted rookie after agreeing to an Exhibit 10 contract with former Liberty forward Zach Cleveland.
Cleveland spent all four collegiate seasons at Liberty, developing into one of the most versatile players in Conference USA.
The 6-foot-7 forward earned Conference USA Player of the Year honors as a senior after averaging 11.9 points, 7.6 rebounds, 6.8 assists, 1.3 steals, and 1.3 blocks per game.
Known more for his all-around impact than his scoring, Cleveland impressed evaluators with his athleticism, passing ability, and versatility on both ends of the floor.
Improving his outside shooting remains a key area of development after attempting very few three-pointers during his college career.
The Exhibit 10 agreement gives Cleveland an opportunity to compete for a two-way contract during training camp or begin his professional career with the Memphis Hustle, the Grizzlies’ G League affiliate.
