The Milwaukee Bucks are generating speculation ahead of the NBA Draft, with several rival executives believing the team is exploring ways to move up from the No. 10 overall pick.
According to Jake Fischer, Milwaukee has shown significant interest in several highly regarded guard prospects, including Mikel Brown Jr., Darius Acuff Jr., Keaton Wagler and Kingston Flemings.
All four are projected by many evaluators to be selected before the Bucks are on the clock at No. 10.
Milwaukee has already met with Brown, worked out Acuff and continues monitoring other prospects expected to come off the board in the top portion of the draft.
Some around the league believe the Bucks are simply preparing for the possibility that one of those players unexpectedly falls to them.
Others view the team’s activity as a sign that it may be attempting to acquire a higher selection.
Moving into the top nine picks could prove difficult, however.
Several teams currently holding picks in that range, including the Los Angeles Clippers, Sacramento Kings, Atlanta Hawks and Brooklyn Nets, are reportedly comfortable with their current draft positions.
One potential trade partner could be the Dallas Mavericks, who hold the ninth pick and have reportedly signaled a willingness to explore deals that move them either up or down the draft board.
The Bucks may be looking to trade up from 10 in the 2026 Draft. Story: https://t.co/IYYWJXG4Ep
