Former Chief Executive of the IRFU, Philip Browne, has passed away at the age of 66

Browne oversaw Irish rugby’s governing body for 23 years, from 1998 until his retirement in 2021

Under his tenure, Ireland won 4 Six Nations championships and were the number one ranked team in the world in 2019, and again from 2022 to 2023
