
Diarmuid Quirke of Tralee Parnells retained his Kerry Senior Poc Fada title in the competition held over a course at Kerry Head today. He will now go forward to the Munster Final to be held in Limerick on Saturday, 13 June.
Runner up in the Senior competition was Stephen Murphy of Causeway with Cormac Slattery from Ballyheigue in third place.
The Under 16 Poc Fada title went to Stephen Harty of Ballyheigue. In second place was Tadhg Diggin of Kilmoyley with Thomas Scanlon from Ballyduff in third place.
Anna Chute from Tralee Parnells won the Senior Camogie Poc Fada with her sister Sara in second place. Breda Breen from Killarney was in third place.
The prizes were presented by Tom Lawlor, Chairman of the North Kerry Hurling Board, who sponsored the competitions.
