Jonas Valanciunas is once again attracting serious interest from European teams after nearly leaving the NBA for the EuroLeague during the 2025 offseason.

Speaking this week on the Pikenrolas podcast, the Denver Nuggets center confirmed that multiple clubs have already contacted him about a potential move overseas.

“I received attention,” Valanciunas said, per BasketNews.com. “Yes, there were talks with one team, another team, and the Lithuanian club. There are discussions, and we are deciding. But the final word belongs to Denver.”

Valanciunas acknowledged that his future largely depends on the Nuggets’ offseason plans and whether the organization decides to keep him on the roster.

“First of all, it depends on whether they trade me, keep me, or not. That’s their decision,” he explained. “As I understand it, only Nikola (Jokic) is untouchable, and everyone else can be moved.”

The veteran center added that he expects clarity on the situation sometime in early July.

Panathinaikos, which pursued Valanciunas last summer, is reportedly interested again, while Fenerbahce and Zalgiris Kaunas have also been linked to the Lithuanian big man.
