Ahead of the EuroLeague Final Four semifinal between Olympiacos B.C. and Fenerbahce Beko, Bonzie Colson spoke about the key aspects that could decide the matchup, focusing on rebounding, physicality, and execution under pressure.
“I think rebounds will be the most important thing in the game against Olympiacos. Also, controlling the ball, not having too many turnovers, and just playing our game. It won’t be easy, but we definitely need to rebound.”
He emphasized the physical challenge ahead and what his team must do to respond Olympiacos:
“They are tall and physically aggressive. We have to match their aggressiveness.”
Looking at his team’s identity and chemistry over the season, he remained confident in their unity and preparation:
“I believe in our team. The chemistry throughout the whole season has been really good, even though we had ups and downs. We have a great locker room, which helps us on the court. We know each other’s strengths and weaknesses.”
Finally, he stressed the importance of collective effort and discipline in such a high-stakes game:
“And tomorrow, everybody will do what they do best. Every position is important. We need to be aggressive, play hard, and not allow easy turnovers.”
