The San Antonio Spurs have listed De’Aaron Fox and Luke Kornet as questionable for Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals against the Oklahoma City Thunder.
Fox is dealing with right ankle soreness, while Kornet is managing soreness in his left foot ahead of Monday’s opener.
According to Jared Weiss of The Athletic, Fox has been playing through the ankle issue for some time.
The veteran guard was also listed as questionable late in San Antonio’s second-round series against the Minnesota Timberwolves but did not miss any games.
Fox has remained productive throughout the playoffs, averaging 18.8 points, 5.8 assists, 3.5 rebounds, and 1.1 steals across 11 postseason appearances.
He averaged 18.6 points and 6.2 assists during the regular season. Meanwhile, Kornet continues to provide valuable frontcourt depth for San Antonio.
The veteran center recorded six points, six rebounds, and four blocks in Friday’s series-clinching victory over Minnesota.
Through the playoffs, Kornet has averaged 5.6 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 1.2 blocks while appearing in every postseason game for the Spurs.
