
Calum McFarlane is expected to be part of Xabi Alonso’s first team coaching set-up at Chelsea, when he takes over this summer.
The former Liverpool midfielder was appointed at the weekend, but McFarlane will remain in charge of the club’s final two Premier League games of the season.
