BENJAMIN SESKO is expected to miss Manchester United’s final game of the season at Brighton.
United decided to let Sesko miss their remaining matches so he can recover from a shin injury he aggravated in the 3-2 win against Liverpool on May 3.
Sesko, 23, had been nursing the injury for some time and banged it when he was shoved off the Old Trafford pitch by Liverpool defender Ibrahima Konate.
United striker Sesko has not trained since the collision and he sat out the goalless draw with Sunderland before Sunday’s 3-2 triumph against Nottingham Forest.
Sesko will not be on international duty this summer as Slovenia failed to qualify for the World Cup.
The £74million goalscorer’s next appearance could be in United’s first pre-season tour game against Wrexham in Helsinki on July 18.
