CRISTIANO RONALDO was left in tears after his Al-Nassr side missed out on yet another piece of silverware amid his ongoing trophy drought in Saudi Arabia.
Ronaldo, 41, joined the Saudi giants in 2023 following his acrimonious departure from Manchester United and has only managed to win the Arab Club Champions Cup, which is not recognised by Fifa.
The five-time Ballon d’Or winner hoped to break his duck on Saturday in the AFC Champions League 2 final against Gamba Osaka in Riyadh.
However, the star forward came up short once more as Osaka won 1-0 thanks to Deniz Hummet’s winner.
And the camera caught the Portugal captain bursting into tears on the bench after full-time.
Ronaldo’s time in Saudi has needed him around £520million, tax free.

He signed on an initial £177m-per-year salary, and then pocketed a £4.7m-a-week extension.
When you add in his £24.5m signing fee, and his £33m club equity stake, Ronaldo’s total football earnings since landing in Saudi Arabia comfortably cross the £520million mark.
The Man Utd legend is known for his emotional outbursts after a bad result as he’s never been shy of hiding his feelings throughout his glittering 24-year career.
And this time Ronaldo even refused to lead his team to the podium and collect their silver medal.

The Al-Nassr captain went AWOL and instead manager Jorge Jesus as well as Joao Felix took up the mantle.
Ronaldo, though, may take solace from the fact he is closer than ever to winning his first ever Saudi Pro League title.
Al-Nassr are top of the league with two points ahead of rivals Al-Hilal and only one game to go.
And a win over Damac on Thursday’s home clash will seal the club’s 11th Saudi Pro League title.
Ronaldo is also gearing up for the 2026 World Cup, which looks almost certain to be his last with Portugal.
That is the only major honour the Real Madrid legend has never won throughout his career.
