The A-F-L-W have confirmed that an Irish selection will take on their Australian counterparts in a one-off clash this August.
Tipperary’s Colin O’Riordan is set to coach the Ireland team, with the likes of Mayo’s Dayna Finn and Aine McDonagh among the 40 Irish players who could be selected.
That game is scheduled for the 1st of August at the North Sydney Oval.
