
Teenager Rory Finneran says he’s determined to impress Republic of Ireland boss Heimir Hallgrimsson during this week’s senior training camp in Spain.
The 18-year-old Newcastle United midfielder was a late call-up to the squad ahead of Saturday’s friendly with Grenada in Murcia.
Finneran, who represented Ireland at the Under-17 World Cup, says he hopes strong performances in training can earn him a senior debut.

The former Blackburn Rovers youngster became the club’s youngest-ever player before joining Newcastle last year.
