FIFA President Gianni Infantino has insisted that the association “applied market rates” in setting ticket prices for next month’s World Cup.
The most expensive ticket for the final is priced at around 9-thousand euro, with four tickets advertised for more than 1-point-7 million on FIFA’s official resale website.
Football Supporters Europe filed a lawsuit with the European Commission in March, after describing the pricing structure as a “monumental betrayal.”
