Olympiacos Piraeus completed a historic sweep of AS Monaco with an 82–105 road victory at Salle Gaston Medecin, sealing a fifth consecutive EuroLeague Final Four appearance. The Greek powerhouse delivered a third straight dominant performance to close out the series.
The win carried added significance as Olympiacos swept a playoff series for the first time in club history. The result also confirmed their place among Europe’s elite once again after controlling the matchup from Game 1 onward.
Monaco opened Game 3 aggressively, with Mike James hitting back-to-back threes to push the home side ahead 10–3. The early momentum did not last, as Olympiacos steadily imposed control through ball movement and spacing.
By halftime, the visitors had already built a 40–61 lead, fueled by a record-setting offensive burst. They produced 61 first-half points, the highest playoff half in club history, and shot 13-of-21 from deep in that stretch.
The shooting surge became the defining factor of the series. Olympiacos finished the game with 18 three-pointers, setting a new EuroLeague playoff record for total threes in a single game since the stat began being tracked in 2007–08.
Evan Fournier led Olympiacos with 22 points, while Alec Peters added 18 in limited minutes. Thomas Walkup contributed 14 as eight players recorded at least two assists, underlining the collective offensive structure.
Olympiacos now moves into the Final Four carrying strong form and record-breaking shooting numbers, with a clear focus on ending a 2013 title drought.
