Giannis Antetokounmpo will sit out this summer’s commitments with the Greek national team, despite initially wanting to take part after a season where injuries limited his time on the court with the Milwaukee Bucks.
He indicated that the focus will now shift toward a future opportunity to represent his country.
“I really wanted to play for the national team because I did not play much this year with the Bucks due to injury. We will wait until 2027. My legs are fine.”
