Cleveland Cavaliers guard Dennis Schroder thinks that Dean Wade’s defense has been on full display vs. the Toronto Raptors so far this postseason (up 2-0 in Eastern Conference First Round/Wade averaging 2.0 SPG).
(via Cleveland Cavaliers):
“No, [I didn’t know he was this good of a defender before I got here]. He is one of the best defenders I’ve seen. What he’s been doing with Brandon Ingram is pretty impressive. I mean, he’d been doing it since we got here. Of course, he got hurt a little bit. But he is, I mean, the best defender, I think, on our team. We need him to do that of course, but on the offensive end, be just confident. Every time when you’re open, just shoot the ball. I think he is in a great space right now.”
