Stephen Curry and Draymond Green turned back the clock with standout performances to lift the Warriors to a comeback win over the Clippers in Wednesday’s elimination game, as Marcus Thompson II of The Athletic writes.
Golden State erased a 13-point deficit with under 10 minutes remaining, fueled by timely scoring from Curry and game-changing defense from Green, according to ESPN’s Anthony Slater.
“We came back every single time they made a run,” head coach Steve Kerr said.
“An incredible display of guts and competitiveness and connection. Then obviously Steph and Dray took over down the stretch. Draymond is the best defender I’ve ever seen in my life.”
Curry’s late-game shot-making proved decisive, helping Golden State complete the rally and secure a play-in victory.
