Sacramento Kings forward Keegan Murray described his 2025-26 injury-filled season as mentally taxing (only appeared in 23 games due to thumb/ankle injuries).
(via Sacramento Kings):
“I mean, it was tough. I mean, I played only one game healthy, and that was the first preseason game against Toronto. So for me, it was just mentally: just watching the game, watching the coaching staff, the players, our rookies — things like that and just learning what they do, and try to implement that into next year. So, it was definitely a learning process. Mentally it was tough because you go through the whole summer working out, getting ready for the long season, and then it just gets taken away pretty quick, especially with the thumb surgery. But it’s definitely a mentally taxing year for sure.”
