Victor Wembanyama has been named Western Conference Defensive Player of the Month for the third straight time, adding March to his previous wins in January and February, the NBA announced.

The favorite for Defensive Player of the Year, Wembanyama led the league in March with 56 blocks (3.7 per game) and added 20 steals (1.3 per game) across 15 games.

The Spurs star also ranked second in contested shots and helped San Antonio go 14-1 in games he played.

Other nominees in the West included Donovan Clingan, Rudy Gobert, Kris Dunn, Chet Holmgren, and Luka Doncic, while the East finalists featured Scottie Barnes, Evan Mobley, OG Anunoby, Nickeil Alexander-Walker, and Dyson Daniels.
