Jordan Clarkson, who has recently addressed the challenge of adapting to a reduced role with the New York Knicks, expressed some of his frustration publicly on social media, according to Stefan Bondy of the New York Post.
The veteran guard responded directly to a fan’s comment questioning how Collin Sexton might perform with Clarkson’s current playing time.
“Stop saying my minutes, I never had minutes,” Clarkson wrote.
The player is seeing the lowest minutes-per-game average of his career and has had difficulty establishing rhythm, particularly with his perimeter shooting.
Clarkson has played 12 seasons for 4 teams, including the Jazz and Lakers. He has averaged 15.5 points, 3.2 rebounds, and 2.8 assists in 804 regular-season games.
He has won 1 Sixth Man of the Year award.
