The New York Knicks dominated the Philadelphia 76ers after Jose Alvarado scored a season-high 26 points on Wednesday night.
Alvarado was acquired last week from the Pelicans, shooting 8 for 13 from beyond the arc, and finished with five steals.
New York bounced back from an overtime home loss against the Pacers on Tuesday night, their 10th win in 12 games. Two of those victories have come against the Sixers, as the teams split their four-game season series.
Mikal Bridges added 22 points, Karl-Anthony Towns with 21 and 11 rebounds, Mohamed Diawara added 14, and Jalen Brunson with eight points after scoring 40 points in their previous game.
For the 76ers, Tyrese Maxey dropped 32 points in three quarters, playing without Joel Embiid, who was sidelined due to right knee soreness. VJ Edgecombe added 14 points, and Dominick Barlow scored 13.
Philadelphia has lost its second straight game, and for the third time in four games, resulting in a season-low point total in its third game under 100 points.
The Knicks jumped out to a 16-4 lead because of nine points from Bridges, as they were already led by 30 at the half.
New York shot 58% from the field in the first half, paced by 19 points from Bridges and 16 from Towns, finishing with a season-high 41 assists.
Meanwhile, OG Anunoby missed his fourth straight game for New York due to an avulsion of the right toenail.
Both teams will play home games after the break on Thursday: The Knicks host the Pistons, while the 76ers host the Hawks.
