The Portland Trail Blazers will face the Minnesota Timberwolves on Wednesday without Damian Lillard, who remains out with a left Achilles tendon issue, according to the team’s latest injury report. Portland will also be missing Kris Murray (lumbar strain), Shaedon Sharpe (left calf strain), and Matisse Thybulle (right knee tendinopathy).

Portland’s depth will be tested as Deni Avdija leads the squad with 25.5 points and 7.2 rebounds per game, while Jerami Grant contributes 19 points and 3.5 rebounds on average. Jrue Holiday adds 14.8 points and 6.5 assists, with Donovan Clingan anchoring the paint at 11.4 rebounds per contest.

Minnesota enters the matchup with Anthony Edwards listed as questionable due to illness. The Timberwolves will also be without Johnny Juzang, Terrence Shannon Jr., and Rocco Zikarsky, all currently on G League assignments or two-way contracts.

Edwards is the team’s leading scorer at 29.6 points per game, with Julius Randle adding 22 points and 7 rebounds per outing. Rudy Gobert continues to be a key presence in the paint, averaging 11.2 rebounds and 10.9 points.

The Trail Blazers are riding a two-game home winning streak, defeating the Philadelphia 76ers 135-118 on February 9 and the Memphis Grizzlies 122-115 on February 7. Minnesota is coming off a 138-116 win over the Atlanta Hawks but had lost 115-96 to the Clippers the night before.

This season, the Timberwolves hold a slight edge, winning the only previous meeting 118-114 at Portland on October 22, 2025. The Trail Blazers, ranked ninth in the Western Conference at 26-28, are looking to climb the standings, while Minnesota sits sixth with a 33-22 record.
