The Los Angeles Clippers defeated the slumping Minnesota Timberwolves 115-96 on Sunday.
Kawhi Leonard led the Clippers with 41 points and eight rebounds, John Collins had 15 points on 6-of-9 shooting, and Yanic Konan Niederhauser also contributed 15 points.
Los Angeles took advantage with a 17-3 run, closing out the third quarter.
On the other hand, Anthony Edwards dropped 23 points, Julius Randle had 17, and newcomer Ayo Dosunmu with 11 points and two steals for the Wolves.
The Timberwolves have lost three of their last four, all to sub-.500 opponents, making just 8 of 33 three-point attempts, and committed 20 turnovers while being held under 100 points for just the second time this season.
Minnesota was coming off one of its most frustrating losses of the season, when it blew an 18-point third-quarter lead in a home loss to the lowly New Orleans Pelicans.
The first half was more of the same for the Wolves, as Leonard scored 24 points and keyed an 18-2 run late in the second quarter that gave the Clippers a 54-42 lead.
The Clippers played without their two key trade deadline acquisitions, Darius Garland in exchange for James Harden, as he remained sidelined with a sprained big toe on his right foot.
Los Angeles will at Houston on Tuesday, while the Timberwolves host the Hawks on Monday.
