Heat vs Wizards injury report and player availability for Sunday clash

The Miami Heat and Washington Wizards will face off Sunday at 2:00 PM ET at Capital One Arena with both teams missing several contributors.

Miami will be without Tyler Herro (right ribs) and Pelle Larsson (right elbow), while Bam Adebayo (right hip), Kasparas Jakucionis (left ankle), Jaime Jaquez Jr. (left knee), Norman Powell (right hand), Dru Smith (left ankle), and Andrew Wiggins (left hamstring) are listed as available. Vladislav Goldin and Keshad Johnson are in the G League, and Terry Rozier is not with the team. Nikola Jovic (right hip) is also available but limited.

The Wizards are dealing with multiple injuries, including Trae Young (right knee MCL sprain, quad contusion), Anthony Davis (left finger), Anthony Gill (right hand), Dante Exum, and D’Angelo Russell not with the team. Bilal Coulibaly, Kyshawn George, Alex Sarr, and Tristan Vukcevic are questionable, while Jaden Hardy and Tre Johnson are out due to rest and a left ankle sprain, respectively. Cam Whitmore is sidelined with right shoulder complications including deep vein thrombosis.

Miami enters the matchup on a two-game losing streak, dropping 98-96 at Boston and 127-115 to Atlanta, while Washington is coming off a 127-113 loss to Brooklyn and a 126-117 win over Detroit.

Key players for the Heat include Norman Powell, averaging 23.0 points per game, Bam Adebayo with 18.1 points and 9.8 rebounds, and Andrew Wiggins contributing 15.8 points per contest. For the Wizards, Alex Sarr leads with 17.3 points and 7.7 rebounds, Kyshawn George adds 15.1 points, and Tre Johnson averages 12.9 points.

Miami sits eighth in the Eastern Conference at 27-26 and Washington in 14th at 14-37.
