Thunder sign Buddy Boeheim

The Oklahoma City Thunder have officially added forward Buddy Boeheim on a Two-Way Contract.

As part of the corresponding roster adjustment, Oklahoma City has waived guard Chris Youngblood, who originally joined the organization on a Two-Way Contract on Oct. 18.

Standing 6-foot-5 and weighing 205 pounds, Boeheim has taken the floor in nine games this season with the Oklahoma City Blue, where he has posted averages of 15.6 points, 4.6 rebounds, 3.8 assists, and 1.22 steals while logging 30.4 minutes per contest.

A native of New York, he previously spent two seasons with the Detroit Pistons from 2022 to 2024 and appeared in 20 NBA games during that span.

The former Syracuse University standout and 2021–22 All-ACC First Team selection played in 121 collegiate games, making 94 starts, and finished his college career with averages of 14.6 points, 2.4 rebounds, 2.2 assists, and 1.01 steals in 31.5 minutes per game across four seasons.
