Lakers vs Nets injury report: Who will play on Tuesday

The Los Angeles Lakers travel to Brooklyn to face the Nets on Tuesday, February 3, at 7:30 PM ET. Both teams are dealing with injuries that could impact rotations and on-court strategies.

For the Lakers, Bronny James (left lower leg soreness) and Austin Reaves (left calf strain) are listed as questionable. Adou Thiero remains out with a right MCL sprain.

Brooklyn faces a larger injury list. Noah Clowney (lower back sprain), Haywood Highsmith (right knee surgery), and Ziaire Williams (left calf contusion) are all sidelined. The Nets’ two-way players Tyson Etienne, Chaney Johnson, and E.J. Liddell are also unavailable for tonight’s game.

The Lakers currently hold a 29-19 record, sitting sixth in the Western Conference, while the Nets are 13-35 and 13th in the East. Los Angeles is coming off a 112-100 loss at New York, following a 142-111 win in Washington. Brooklyn lost 130-77 at Detroit but beat Utah 109-99 two days prior.

Luka Doncic leads the Lakers with 33.5 points, 7.8 rebounds, and 8.7 assists per game, while LeBron James averages 21.5 points and 5.7 rebounds. Austin Reaves is contributing 26.3 points per contest when healthy.

On the Nets’ side, Michael Porter Jr. is the team’s primary scorer with 25.3 points per game, and Nic Claxton adds 12.2 points and 7.5 rebounds.

The teams met once this season on November 21, 2025, in Brooklyn, with Los Angeles winning 118-112.
