
The Denver Nuggets will face the Detroit Pistons on Tuesday at Little Caesars Arena, with several key players listed as out or questionable.
Denver will be without Tamar Bates (left foot, surgery), Aaron Gordon (right hamstring, strain), Cameron Johnson (right knee, bone bruise), and Curtis Jones (G League – two-way). Christian Braun remains questionable with a left ankle sprain.
Denver’s lineup will rely heavily on Nikola Jokic, who is averaging 29.3 points, 12.0 rebounds, and 10.7 assists per game, and Jamal Murray, contributing 25.5 points and 7.5 assists.
For Detroit, the Pistons are also managing absences, with Wendell Moore Jr., Tolu Smith, Isaac Jones, Bobi Klintman, and Chaz Lanier out on G League assignments. Caris LeVert is questionable due to illness.
Cade Cunningham, Duncan Robinson, and Jalen Duren will lead Detroit’s offense, averaging 25.2, 11.8, and 18.0 points respectively.
The Nuggets have won their last two games, defeating the Clippers 122-109 and the Nets 107-103, while the Pistons are also on a two-game winning streak, topping the Nets 130-77 and the Warriors 131-124.
Tuesday marks the second matchup of the season between the teams, with Detroit narrowly winning 109-107 in Denver on January 27.
Denver sits third in the Western Conference at 33-17, while Detroit leads the Eastern Conference at 36-12.
