New York is still actively exploring trade options involving Guerschon Yabusele, but league sources tell James L. Edwards III of The Athletic that his contract is generally seen as a negative asset.
As a result, rival teams believe the Knicks would need to include additional compensation to move Yabusele, unless he is folded into a larger multi-team deal.
Edwards places Yabusele in his “most likely to be traded” category, alongside Pacome Dadiet, Tyler Kolek, and Jordan Clarkson.
Edwards also notes that Clarkson could emerge as a buyout candidate after the trade deadline if both sides opt to go their separate ways, particularly since the veteran guard has recently fallen out of the regular rotation.
Ayo Dosunmu could be a trade target for the Knicks, plus more from New York. https://t.co/D4NrIHuF8i
