Tottenham, in fifth, join Arsenal on 26 points after winning 2-1 at strugglers West Ham.

Newly promoted London City Lionesses are one place further back after a sixth victory – 2-1 at Brighton.

Everton beat Aston Villa at Goodison Park by the same score to move away from the foot of the table.
