
The Phoenix Suns defeated Cleveland 126-113 to sweep a back-to-back and end the Cavaliers’ winning streak at a season-best five games on Friday night.
Dillon Brook dropped 27 points after obtaining his 40-point career-high on Thursday, while winning three in a row with scoring leader Devin Booker sidelined due to a sprained ankle.
Brooks was 9 of 14 from the field, 2 of 4 from three-point range, and 7 of 8 from the free-throw line, as the Suns were 23 of 48 from three-point range.
Jordan Goodwin added 17 points to help Phoenix improve to 30-19, and Collin Gillespie added 16 points.
Meanwhile, Jalen Green returned from a right hamstring injury to play only his fifth game of the season, as he dropped 11 points in 15 ½ minutes.
Cavs’ De’Andre Hunter led the Cavaliers with 17 points, Donovan Mitchell and Jaylon Tyson each had 16.
Phoenix outscored Cleveland 45-32 in the third quarter to take a 97-79 lead, and Cavaliers coach Kenny Atkinson was ejected early in the fourth with his second technical foul of the night to push the lead to 30 at 109-79.
The Suns led 52-47 at the half, as the Cavs had 15 first-half turnovers.
Both teams will play on Sunday night: Cavaliers at Portland, while Phoenix host the Clippers.
