The Toronto Raptors visit the Orlando Magic on Friday, January 30, with tip-off set for 6:30 p.m. ET at the Kia Center in Orlando, Florida. Toronto enters with a 29-20 record and sits fourth in the Eastern Conference, while Orlando holds a 24-22 mark and ranks eighth.

Toronto comes off a 92-119 road loss to the New York Knicks on January 28 after edging the Oklahoma City Thunder 103-101 three days earlier. Orlando split its last two games, beating the Miami Heat 133-124 on January 28 before a 98-114 defeat against the Cleveland Cavaliers on January 26.

Injuries remain a factor for both teams, though neither side is dealing with a long list of rotation absences. The Raptors have several players unavailable due to G League assignments, including Chucky Hepburn, A.J. Lawson, and Alijah Martin.

Toronto’s most notable injury concern is Jakob Poeltl, who remains sidelined with a lower back strain. The starting center averages 9.7 points, 7.7 rebounds, and shoots 69.3% from the field, making his absence significant for interior defense and rebounding.

Despite Poeltl’s absence, Toronto continues to rely on its core starters. Scottie Barnes averages 19.4 points, 8.3 rebounds, and 5.6 assists per game, while Brandon Ingram leads the team in scoring at 21.7 points per contest. Immanuel Quickley adds 16.9 points and 6.1 assists, providing stability in the backcourt.

Orlando’s injury report is lighter but still noteworthy. Colin Castleton is unavailable due to a G League two-way assignment, while Franz Wagner is listed as out as he continues recovery from left high ankle sprain injury management.

Wagner’s absence impacts the Magic’s offensive balance. He averages 22.2 points, 6.1 rebounds, and 3.6 assists per game, ranking among Orlando’s top scorers alongside Paolo Banchero, who leads the team with 21.9 points and 8.8 rebounds per game.

The Magic will lean on Banchero and Desmond Bane, who averages 19.0 points per game, to generate offense. Anthony Black also plays a key role, contributing 15.8 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 4.1 assists per contest while defending multiple positions.

Toronto won the first meeting between the teams this season, edging Orlando 107-106 at home on December 29, 2025.
