Bundee Aki has been suspended for six weeks for verbal abuse towards match officials.
The Connacht centre was cited following his side’s URC defeat to Leinster last Saturday and appeared before a disciplinary panel yesterday.
The suspension means Aki will miss the opening three games of Ireland’s Six Nations campaign. The final two weeks of the ban have been suspended, meaning he could return before the end of the championship.

Aki did not travel with the Ireland squad for their pre-tournament training camp in Portugal.
