Wizards vs Hornets injury report for Saturday

The Washington Wizards travel to Spectrum Center to face the Charlotte Hornets on Saturday, January 24, with tipoff at 12:00 PM ET. Washington holds a 10-33 record, while Charlotte sits at 17-28.

The Wizards are severely limited, with Trae Young (right knee MCL sprain/quad contusion), Marvin Bagley III (thoracic strain), Bilal Coulibaly (lower back strain), Cam Whitmore (right shoulder deep vein thrombosis), Khris Middleton (left foot soreness), Tristan Vukcevic (left hamstring strain), and AJ Johnson (illness) all unavailable.

Kyshawn George leads the team with 15.6 points, 5.8 rebounds, and 5.0 assists per game, while Alex Sarr averages 17.2 points and 7.4 rebounds.

Charlotte will be missing Mason Plumlee (right groin surgery), KJ Simpson (left hip flexor sprain), PJ Hall, and Antonio Reeves due to G League assignments.

Brandon Miller and Ryan Kalkbrenner are available, with Miller averaging 20.0 points and 3.4 assists per game. LaMelo Ball continues to anchor the offense with 19.3 points, 7.5 assists, and 5.1 rebounds.

Miles Bridges adds 18.7 points and 6.3 rebounds, while Kon Knueppel contributes 19.0 points and 3.5 assists. Collin Sexton provides 14.9 points and 4.0 assists off the bench.

Washington enters an eight-game losing streak after losses to Denver and the Clippers, while Charlotte comes off a 124-97 win over Orlando, snapping a loss to Cleveland. Previous meetings this season favor the Hornets, who defeated the Wizards 139-113 and 126-109.
