South Africa’s Eben Etzebeth will learn his fate today after his red card against Wales last weekend.
The Sharks lock will go before a disciplinary panel after being dismissed for an apparent eye gouge on Alex Mann towards the end of the Springboks 73-nil win in Cardiff.
He could receive anything from a four-week to a 12-week suspension – or longer for a top-end offence – though his clean record and a reported apology may help reduce any sanction.
