Cade Cunningham recorded 24 points and 11 rebounds as the Detroit Pistons held off the Indiana Pacers 122-117 on Monday night at Gainbridge Fieldhouse. The victory marks Detroit’s 13th straight win, matching franchise streaks set by the 1989-90 and 2003-04 teams.

Detroit led 71-55 at halftime after outscoring Indiana 36-23 in the second quarter, hitting 58.5% of their shots and seven of 14 from three-point range. The Pistons maintained control through the third quarter, leading 101-88 heading into the final period.

Caris LeVert added 19 points, while Jalen Duren finished with a double-double of 17 points and 12 rebounds. Jaden Ivey contributed 12 points in his second game back after recovering from a left fibula fracture sustained in January. Tobias Harris and Ausar Thompson added 12 and 13 points, respectively, helping Detroit withstand a late Pacers rally.

The Pacers, battling injuries and missing star guard Tyrese Haliburton to a torn Achilles, cut an 18-point deficit to two in the fourth quarter. Pascal Siakam led Indiana with 24 points, and Jarace Walker added 21, but a missed 3-pointer by Bennedict Mathurin with 11 seconds left sealed the outcome.

Detroit shot 50% from the field overall and 36% from three, with 29 free throws made of 37 attempts. Indiana finished with 48% shooting and 42% from three but struggled to overcome turnovers and a slow start.

With the win, the Pistons improve to 15-2, maintaining their position atop the Eastern Conference. The Pacers drop to 2-15, losing 10 of 11 games amid a roster depleted by injuries.

Detroit now looks ahead to a Wednesday NBA Cup matchup at Boston, while Indiana travels to Toronto. The Pistons aim to continue their dominant streak and solidify playoff positioning, relying on Cunningham, LeVert, and Duren to sustain their offensive output.
