With Joel Embiid unavailable and Adem Bona also out because of an ankle sprain, the Philadelphia 76ers have been leaning far more heavily on Andre Drummond to anchor the frontcourt.
The big man has stepped into the starting lineup for the past four games and logged no fewer than 33 minutes in each outing.
As Keith Pompey of The Philadelphia Inquirer notes, Drummond more than held his own on Monday against Clippers center Ivica Zubac, finishing the night with 14 points and a season-best 18 rebounds.
What’s also notable is how Drummond has expanded his offensive game. The two-time All-Star has begun taking – and making – shots from the perimeter.
He’s 7-for-17 from beyond the arc this season, a significant development for a player who had never made more than five three-pointers in any previous season before 2025/26.
