The Atlanta Hawks visit the Phoenix Suns on Sunday, November 16, at 8:00 PM ET at the Mortgage Matchup Center with several key players sidelined. Both teams hold 8-5 records, but injuries could significantly impact rotations and scoring.
Atlanta will be without Trae Young, who is out with a right knee MCL sprain. Four players—N’Faly Dante, Nikola Djurisic, Eli John Ndiaye, and Jacob Toppin—are in the G League and unavailable for the main roster.
Phoenix will be missing Grayson Allen (right quadriceps contusion) and Jalen Green (right hamstring strain), which removes two scoring options from their lineup. Devin Booker and Dillon Brooks will carry the bulk of the offensive load.
Young leads the Hawks with 21.5 points and 9.5 rebounds per game, while Kristaps Porzingis contributes 17.1 points and 8.2 rebounds. With Young sidelined, scoring responsibilities shift to Jalen Johnson, Onyeka Okongwu, and Nickeil Alexander-Walker.
For the Suns, Devin Booker averages 28.5 points and 7.0 assists, while Dillon Brooks adds 20.3 points per contest. Royce O’Neale and Mark Williams provide secondary scoring and rebounding to maintain Phoenix’s balanced attack despite Allen and Green being unavailable.
Atlanta has excelled on the road with a 6-2 record, while Phoenix is strong at home at 6-1. The Hawks will rely on interior scoring from Porziņģis and Okongwu to counter the Suns’ home advantage.
