Donovan Mitchell delivered 30 points and took over late as the Cleveland Cavaliers stormed back to beat the Memphis Grizzlies 108–100 on Saturday night at Rocket Arena.

Mitchell scored 14 points in a four-minute stretch of the fourth quarter, fueling a 17–2 run that flipped a 92–86 deficit into a 103–92 advantage.

Cleveland improved to 9–5 on the season and moved to 1–1 on its six-game homestand.

Evan Mobley added 22 points and 13 rebounds, anchoring a frontcourt that outscored Memphis 32–16 in the final frame after struggling for most of the middle periods. Jarrett Allen supplied 16 points in 26 minutes, giving the Cavaliers a reliable interior presence as they mounted their comeback.

Sam Merrill chipped in 13 points, hitting timely perimeter shots that helped stabilize Cleveland’s offense before Mitchell closed the game.

Memphis fell to 4–10 and played most of the night without Ja Morant, who exited after six minutes with right calf soreness. He had missed Wednesday’s game in Boston due to a sore right ankle.

Jaren Jackson Jr. led the Grizzlies with 26 points and tied his career high with 12 made free throws, though he shot 6-for-23 from the field. His early scoring set the tone, posting 17 points and going 10-of-11 at the line in the first half as Memphis built a 61–54 lead at the break.

Zach Edey added 13 points and seven rebounds in his season debut, returning from left ankle surgery performed June 7. Santi Aldama contributed 12 points and 11 rebounds off the bench, giving Memphis a strong secondary effort in the frontcourt.

Cleveland played without Darius Garland and Jaylon Tyson for the second straight game. Garland has appeared in only three games following offseason surgery on his left great toe, and the team has not provided a timetable for his return.

Despite the short-handed rotation, Cleveland controlled the final 12 minutes behind improved ball movement, strong defensive rotations, and Mitchell’s scoring burst. The Cavaliers shot 46% from the field and held Memphis to 31-of-86 overall, limiting the Grizzlies to 16 fourth-quarter points.
