Grizzlies vs Cavaliers injury report: Garland out, Clarke sidelined

The Memphis Grizzlies and Cleveland Cavaliers meet Friday night at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse with multiple players on the injury list. Tip-off comes at 7:00 PM ET.

Brandon Clarke sits out for Memphis due to right knee surgery recovery. Cedric Coward lists as doubtful from right foot soreness. Zach Edey appears questionable with left ankle surgery recovery. Ty Jerome remains out for right calf strain. Scotty Pippen Jr. stays sidelined after left great toe surgery recovery. Olivier-Maxence Prosper checks in questionable due to left quad contusion. Javon Small misses the game from left toe turf toe.

Memphis enters at 4-9 after a win in one of its past two contests.

The Grizzlies have relied on Morant’s assists and Jackson Jr.’s scoring through the first 13 games. Ja Morant averages 18.9 points, 3.7 rebounds, and 8.1 assists per game. Jaren Jackson Jr. posts 17.2 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 1.3 assists per contest.

Rookie Cedric Coward contributes 14.3 points and 5.9 rebounds per outing. Santi Aldama adds 12.7 points and 6.5 rebounds nightly.

Cleveland lists Darius Garland as out with left great toe injury management. Chris Livingston sits out on G League two-way. Max Strus remains out for left foot surgery – Jones fracture. Jaylon Tyson stays sidelined from head concussion.

The Cavaliers hold an 8-5 record. Donovan Mitchell leads Cleveland with 30.5 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 5.5 assists per game. Evan Mobley records 19.0 points, 8.7 rebounds, and 4.2 assists per matchup. De’Andre Hunter provides 18.9 points and 4.9 rebounds per game.
