Bradley Beal’s season has officially come to an end after it was confirmed that the veteran guard suffered a fractured hip and will undergo surgery, according to a team announcement.

Beal, who signed with the Los Angeles Clippers this past offseason on a two-year, $11 million contract that includes a player option for the second year, will miss the remainder of the 2025–26 campaign.

The player appeared in just six games for the Clippers, averaging 8.2 points and 1.7 assists in 20.2 minutes per contest.

He shot 37.5 percent from the field and 36.8 percent from three-point range, serving primarily as a scoring option off the bench during his short stint with the team.

This marks yet another injury setback for Beal, who has struggled with health issues in recent years.

The three-time All-Star has not played more than 53 games in any of the past four seasons, limiting his ability to stay consistently active in team rotations.

In a statement provided to reporters, Beal’s agent Mark Bartelstein said the decision to move forward with surgery was made after extensive medical consultations.

“We met with numerous doctors and specialists around the country in collaboration with the entire Clippers medical staff over the last few days, and came to the decision unanimously that the surgery will allow Brad to have a full and complete recovery,” Bartelstein said.
