
The Republic of Ireland have been pitted against France, the Netherlands, and Poland in the European World Cup qualifiers
Only the winner of Group A2 will qualify automatically for the 2027 tournament in Brazil.
However Ireland are still guaranteed at least a play-off if they don’t top the group.

The qualification series will be played across double-headers in March, April and June 2026 with the playoffs held in October.
Meanwhile – Northern Ireland have been drawn with Switzerland, Türkiye and Malta in their League B group.
