West Ham have made their joint-worst start to a Premier League season following a 2-1 defeat at Leeds.

They have taken just four points from their opening nine games.

Chelsea can go second in the table, for a few hours at least, when they face Sunderland at Stamford Bridge this afternoon.

But, with the other teams above them playing tomorrow, Liverpool could end the day second if they beat Brentford in an evening kick-off.

Brighton will look to make it four straight wins at Old Trafford when they face Manchester United at tea-time.
