Can you be the greatest player ever and still be getting better?
Well, that’s exactly what 29-year-old A’ja Wilson showed this past season with the Las Vegas Aces.
Wilson set playoff career-highs in PPG (26.8), APG (3.3), and SPG (2.1) while also tying a career-best in BPG (2.5). Her 322 points, 120 rebounds, and 55 combined steals + blocks were a playoff record as well.
Not to mention, she scored a Finals series record 114 points, tied her career-high for points in a playoff game with 38, and became the first WNBA or NBA player ever to win MVP (now has the most MVPs in WNBA history), Defensive Player of the Year, Finals MVP, and the scoring title.
With that said, I think it’s safe to say the 4x MVP/2x Finals MVP/3x DPOY/3x WNBA champion/5x blocks leader/2x scoring champion/7x All-Star hasn’t reached her ceiling yet.
