Jaden Springer will join the New Orleans Pelicans for the 2025–26 NBA season, NBA insider Michael Scotto reported. The guard has appeared in 110 career NBA games with the 76ers, Celtics, and Jazz over four seasons.
Springer signed with the Pelicans on July 31, aiming to contribute as a versatile backcourt option. He has averaged 2.9 points, 1.4 rebounds, and 0.8 assists in 8.8 minutes per game across his career.
During the 2025 preseason, Springer played in the team’s Melbourne and Orlando games. He recorded five points, four rebounds, and two assists across two contests.
The Pelicans are expected to utilize Springer in a bench role, providing defensive energy and floor spacing. His experience with multiple teams gives him insight into adapting quickly to new systems.
Springer’s addition adds depth to New Orleans’ backcourt as the Pelicans balance their rotation with young talent and experienced players. His versatility and athleticism make him a potential key contributor in limited minutes.
The 23-year-old guard will look to carve out a more significant role this season after spending time with Philadelphia, Boston, and Utah.
